Thanks for visiting us here at Team Forster.  I’m Grant T. Forster, President and Head Trainer.  This website will give you information regarding all the facets of our operation.

We are named Team Forster because horse racing is the ultimate team sport.  It takes the passion and efforts of everyone involved in a horse’s life to make it a success.

Our mission is to provide the best training services to our horses and their owners while treating our employees fairly and with great respect.  We focus on using the highest quality feed, equipment and therapeutic services available.  Our goal is to nurture happy, sound and healthy horses who are eager to race to the best of their abilities.  Then we take great pride in our horses’ second careers, whether it’s in the breeding arena or as a pleasure or show horse.

We strive to provide our horses with the very best of everything and treat them as the individuals they are.  Our results say a lot about how our horses develop over time and carry their form for extended periods.

Team Forster is based at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, from April through November, and the Fair Grounds in New Orleans, Louisiana, for the winter months.
